I asked the same question on the thread mentioned above. I decided to stick with the 2.6. I rebuilt it and it really wasn't to expensive. It is running fine now, after I ended up having to go back in and put an jet valve elumination kit in the head. I really started looking at what all would have to be done to swap and it would be better to go with the 4.3 chevy engine if you wanted to invest in a swap. Good Luck
