This site is the best I,ve seen for any vehicle. Thanks to all who make it so.The knowledge is great and then you back that up with the friendly feeling.I posted on another site about my supra,I forgot I had my cap locks on ,so this guy replys all hacked off because I'm "yelling and demanding".Another guy post how he broke some stuff while doing a burn out and they all gang up and call his family bad names.Anyway its nice to feel at home here.
thanks again, this site has improved my rig 100%

good, now get lost!!!

just kidding ! i feel the same way. this place has a totally different atmosphere than some of the other boards i've been on. some people on other boards don't seem to remember where they came from as far as not knowing certain information and flame a new guy for wanting to learn . i can't stand that s***!!! this is definately one of the best places i've found for good info on my rig. all of the info is here so you really don't even have to post, just read. other boards will have 10+ pages on a certain topic but 9 of them are all bulls*** flamefests.

SAS88TOY, caged, lockered, Longfielded, etc. etc. etc. blah blah blah!!!

Agree. I think it is because we are Die Hard Toyota 4x4 fans. We love to work an drive them. I would have to think long and hard about getting a new rig. I'm not sure I would trade even for a new 2007 Tacoma. I think my truck looks better. It's more rugged looking without all the goo-goo stuff/ground effects/flarings/etc....although the head gasket thing pi$$e$ me off a little.......

This web community here is also taken care of by you gents/gals.

We get a few meatheads givin' us hell in the back room sometimes, but they get told to change the channel if they don't like the fact they can't be a jerk (politely speakin') here. Shame too; some of them are pretty technically savvy. I don't let 'em ride roughshod on anyone because of it. That's BS.

A lot of new shadetree wrenchers have come here in the past year, and you've done yourselves proud with gettin' yer sleeves up and making things happen with your rigs.

That's how it should be in my book. It ain't that hard to keep the bar high; you deserve it.

I second that!! I am a newbie of course, who knows very little about toyotas. So I appreciate everyone letting me ask stupid questions all in the name a learning. I was also at a another site (which I will not mention arrrrr lol) that had a lot of information, but didn't tolerate anyone who didn't know everything!! Thanks all who reply to my threads that I post from time to time!!

Absolutely Agreed!!!

I was doing a rebuild on an old RX-7 a few months back, for a buddy, and joined a couple fo RX-7 sites, foolishly thinking I would get the same kind of freindly atmosphere, help and advice that is freely offered here.....Instead I got a bunch of punk, wisecrack comments.

The ignition system on an RX7 is a little different....being a rotaty motor and all. So I made a post asking how best to time the thing and was told (by several people), that if I had to ask such a basic question, that I maybe I was out of my league.

Ya never get there here....people are more likely to argue on who gave teh advice first on here.

I agree with everything that has been said above. Its funny because a year or two ago I was a die hard forum hater. I became that way by watching the forum one of my buddy's was on and I just thought it was the dumbest thing ever. Nothing but arguing, flaming, and BS. Go figure it was a rice rocket forum. Any way, I got into toyota's and found this site and realized that it was actually really cool and useful. I really wish that we all lived close to each other so we could hang out and wheel together. sniff sniff, lol.
