Need a Spot
I have a '88 Yota 22RE. With no warning engine just quit. It would turnover and run for about 2 seconds then quit. Almost like I was out of gas. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and it started and ran fine. Weird... any ideas?!?!?!

Possibly the Air Flow MEter Fuel Pump contact or the CIrcuit Opening relay dropped out for a bit?

Hmmm.. I have also noticed that randomly it will be very sluggish until I hit a certain RPM then it'll run fine.. and other times it idles really, really low almost dying... any ideas around that?

Air Flow Meter:

and Throttle Position Sensor:

would be two likely things to check out.

Roll Me Over
Location?

If in the rust-belt, it could also be a shorted fuel pump bracket due to rust.
