Yes, thats what I've been doing. So far I've shot a Kimber ultra carry II .45, Berretta 9 mm, Glock 23, and a .357 of some sort, i can't remember exactly the brand. So i have basically gotten the feel for all the calibers I would consider. My preference after shooting them all is the .40 or .45. I like both. I'm just lookin for some good info and people's opinions.
I am currently looking at the kimber KPD(Kimber Pro Defense) which is only offered in .40 right now. One thing that is different about it from other kimbers is that it is DAO(double action only). I have mixed thoughts on this.
