Since becoming a Cop 17 years ago I have been involved in two shootings. One I used my SWAT rifle, Colt M4 and that pretty much took care of business.
My other shooting I shot the guy with my Glock 22 .40 Caliber. I shot him three times all lethal hits but out of shear luck he survived later of course to sue me.
The rounds messed him up pretty bad but he still lived and managed to get a round off at me. I wished I was carrying my trusty .45 colt auto, which I had carried for years.
I now carry my .45 auto on and off duty again.

Kimber! made in the USA <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" /> ( note, not that made in the USA means quality by default, cough cough...Ford)

Ha ha, you got a point there!
Here's a question for you. Do any of you think that a 3" barrel is too short. A few people who think they know it all, you know the type of people i'm talkin about, say that they would use no less than 4". I'm not supporting or disagreeing with this, just stating what they said. Here's what I'm checkin out right now.

You HAVE to go to a good range and shoot the weapon your buying. In the end it's hits that count, not barrel size.

"Please tell me he lost in court."

Don't know yet he's taking it to federal court sometime this year on a civil rights violation.

That Kimber .45 is a great pistol. Has a good recoil but it's small enough to carry every day.
