When I placed my order for new diffs I told them I needed complete diffs, ready to be bolted in. When they arrived I installed the front. Today I went to swap my front diff cover and axle shafts over to my new diff. When I pulled the old diff apart I began comparing the 2. The new diff did not have bearings or axle seals. I called Randy's, but basiacally I am SOL! I can't wheel this weekend now, cause I can't pay a shop to fix it for me, and I have no tools to press bearings on. If I don't have tools to set up gears, why would I have tools to press bearings? I am so pissed I can not stand it! I asked the phone monkey repeatedly that these diffs would be complete and ready to drop in. I talked to a different guy tonight and he said those parts are extra. WHY WOULD THE GUY NOT TRY TO SELL ME EXTRA STUFF!?!?!?! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Whoa Josh, that blows bigtime! So what are you gonna do?
C'mon to VA anyway, you can hitch a ride. It'll be worth the drive.
(BTW, let me know asap if you're coming, I have that tire for ya.)

Well get a ride from Adam then.
Are you sure you can't hire someone to get you to a point where you can finish it?
Borrow your Mom's 4Runner?

Ok, quick question...is it possible to have some sort of metal bushing rather than bearings...cause it looks like that is what I have. If so, all I need is an oil seal.

Go with it boy, I would assume that they would send you a complete diff.
It would be absurd if it was not just bolt on. Go back out and take another look, I bet you have the right part.

If they did indeed substitute some cheap bearing substitute, the only option I really have is to re-use my axle seals. They looked ok, but how risky is this?

You do have until Thursday night. You could pick up new seals.
I don't know about re-useing maybe one of these other guys will chime in.
