I live in Mankato, MN. It is a river valley so they salt at mention of snow/ice/frost! Rust creeps into everything! If you don't want it to rust here, you don't drive in the winter. Has anyone tried those anode cathode devices, or those electric rust preventers? Supposedly gas stations use them on their gas storage tanks and ships use them on their hulls.


America's first fourwheel drive was built in Mankato, MN by Ernest Rosenburger in 1908 who founded Four-Traction Auto Co. on Hickory Street. The company though successful closed in 1913.
