Was wondering, I don't know exactly how the upper or lower oil cooler line comes off, my book doesnt show. ok, where the upper oil cooler line comes out of the oil filter bracket area, where the hard line turnes into the flex line(What kinda line is this?) about 2 inches up from the joint from where the hard line turns into the flex lines it is leaking, I cut back the rubber that was around it and it's leaking right from the middle of the flex line....I am wanting to know how the line is constructed to know if what I am thinking will work...because the oil cooler line isnt like a radiator hose type..here's what I want to do....disconnect the oil cooler line from the oil filter bracket(Or what ever it's connected to!) and slip a fuel line hose or whatever hose over the area it is leaking and clamp both sides,or since the hose is constructed different will it just force the leak to run down somewhere else, Also I need to know how the line comes off,I hope you guys are following me...Thx!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
