I can only dream of the amount of times I MIGHT go offroading that I would worry about the "angle"... I could use the extra power for the road!

Any Canadian suggestions??

If you're primarily using it for Road and concerned about power don't run 33's which are significantly heavier than the stock sized tires. FWIW, rotational weight takes more power to move than fixed vehicle weight. It also takes more braking power to stop than fixed vehicle weight.

Ditto. You'll get much better highway performance, braking, and gas mileage with stock tires. It'll also be easier on the steering components with respect to wear. If you mainly drive it on road, and if the off-roading you might do is just light-duty, stock tires will serve you better. They're also cheaper.

I'm the one that started this post and I do go offroading, quite often which is why I'm thinking of going 33s. I have 31s now and they aren't too bad but I could use a little more meat.

Need a Spot
just reading the posts here. I am also looking at putting a webber on my '87 monty. When I bought the truck the previous owner had stripped the emission controls off it and put on another mikuni carb. Now I can't get it to pass this stupid Air Care test. I have tried to adjust the air/fuel but after about a week of driving it seems to run rich again. Any suggestions?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
