Here's the website for it. http://www.zuzoo.org/index.shtml But it hasn't been updated yet for registration. If you do a search on it, there's a recent thread that talks about Moab ZuZoo this year.

We will be gathering the third weekend of May in Moab to socialize.

We are *NOT* having an official trail-running event, but will be having a social gathering at Archview campground.

I'm certain that there will be small independent trail runs. I intend to participate in several of these trail runs as an individual, not organizer.

This isn't what we'd like to do, but it is the reality of agencies, insurance, and liability.

On the bright side, with no official trail-ride, there will be no registration fees.

It is what it is folks -- my apologies if anyone is disappointed.

So I gather there will be no signing up for trails beforehand...and people should gather at Archview to meet folks who might like to tag along for a trail run?

Body Damage is Cool
I know I'll be in the Moab area (arriving on Tuesday). We depart Denver 5/11 (Friday) to go see things like:
Capital Reef National Park w/Cathedral Loop drive
Lake Powell (including ferry ride from Bullfrog to Halls Crossing)
Hole in the Rock trail
Natural Bridges National Monument
Canyonlands National Park - Needles District
Elephant Hill w/confluence overlook

We will be running trails in the area Wed-Sat. Im sure we will run into some folks while we are out there...

Staying @ a condo in Rim Village.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi!
Me and two of my buddies will leave may 15 about 4-5pm from San Diego and planning on getting to moab in the morning of the 16-th.Most likely will be "wild camping" off the 211 somewhere around needles overlook or further in lockhart canyon. If anyone will be going around the same time and camp the same area, we would love to caravan together.

I suppose I should chime in from the dead. This years gathering of friends works perfectly for me.

I won't be able to make it out until Thrus morning. I changed jobs and just don't have the senority to get more time off. Jon is still an unknown, if he can't get the time off I doubt he'll be up for coming out just Sat and Sun.

Anyway we also won't be bringing the Amigo, just no way to have it functional in time for the event. I've not had the time, motivation, money or ability (fractured hand) to do anything at all on the truck. The CV that was dieing finally gave it up during a big snow storm here in Denver and I haven't had time to do much about it yet. Then the rear shock mount broke off the spring skidder. That I might get around to replacing before Moab but don't bet on it. We did however fix the exhaust leak at the manifold only to have it crop up at the flex joint instead. That's when I nixed any further ice winter repairs.

The RS and Amigo also both need new tires badly. I actually had to put the old stock tires back on the Amigo to get us through the winter. It was a sad day indeed and it looks funny but worked much better than the baldies.

We will be 2 wheeling it either way so I might not bring an Isuzu as all and just join the V8 crowd in the camp ground
