I know this thing is expensive, but its the only thing I've seen that addresses ALL of the problem areas of the factory style idler.


Definitely agreed.
I've seen some folks that have made a brace for teh arms out of 1/4" or even 5/16" stock, like the old Downey braces, but that takes some fabbing skills/equipment.
