I'd get a one-piecer as its only a matter of time before your carrier bearing eats itself. As for trail spares, definitely a tie rod or two. Those are probably the #1 most prone to breakage thing on a wheeled 'Zu; and you can't get back home without them. The DOR tie rod shieldz or Independent4x beefy tie rods are a nice upgrade; but I'd still keep one spare around 'just in case'. As I said, you are going anywhere if one of those breaks. Other things like CV's can be replaced back at home.
