What offset for 33" tyres on a Gen1 ?

What offset for 33" tyres on a Gen1 ? #799446 03/23/07 08:33 AM

I've looked at various posts on the subject, but most meander into other issues. I need quick simple advice.

I have a 1989 Gen1 LWB with 2" body lift, "neutral" IFS (not cranked).

Two questions:

1. Will 33"s on standard rims (15") fit, without rubbing?

2. If not, what width & offset will do it for me?

1989 Exceed LWB
4m41 (3.2DiD TurboDiesel
5-spd Manual Tranny
2" lift
31" BFG A/T
