you can always do the jeep cherokee spacer trick. Instead of making an elaborate intake system, you make a spacer and put it between the hood and the hinges. It's usually made with 1" square tubing, and just drilled out to the bolt pattern. You will also require 1" longer bolts. You will lower the ambient air temp by allowing hot air a route out the back, and at higherspeeds this will keep the air moving out of the engine bay and sucking the heat out with it, making the engine run cooler. You might have to adjust the hood latch a bit if it doesn't lock down after you fit the hinge spacers. It also helps with engine heat a low speeds too.
