400ci? try 300ci for the 4.9

No, the real Caddy V8's of the days when cars were huge and went fast. 425ci, 472ci and the King of Monsterous factory blocks the 500ci V8. We were after all talking about big blocks here....

The last of the big Caddy engines was a 502 ci motor, that is 8.2 liters for you metric guys. I believe the last year was in 1976 and it was in a couple of Cadillacs. However I believe the 502 only had a HP rating between 170-190 in it's time. However if you want a big, torquey, and unique engine I would suggest the 478ci V6 that GMC made in the 60's, it made 442 ft. lbs. at 1400 rpm's

However, has anybody swapped in a 4.3L supercharged engine similar to the setup that was used in the Cyclone or Typhoon.

2000 Chevy Tahoe nothing special. 1990 Isuzu Amigo, 3" lift, 31x10.5x15 BFG All Terrain (Street), 33x12.5x15 (offroad), Pacesetter header, some ATM rash. More mods to come......
