This may fall into the catagory of the drivetrain Bible but I feel the subject warrants its own thread. Anyways I think it would be good to have as a quick reference, as to what gen II parts will fit on the gen I and what mods if any are needed to make the swap, along with the know benifits or drawbacks.

So Far this is what I know:

Upper Control arms, direct bolt on will allow for correction of camber with a tortion bar crank.

Rear trailing Arms, Increased durability.

Coil Springs,

Rear Axle on coil spring (V6) models, has anyone done this swap and does the increase in width have affect on rubbing of tires during articulation? Is a custom drive shaft required if installing a 3.5SR locked axle into a GenI 3.0?

Anyways I hope some others chime in with their swaps and findings.
