In my humble opinion I would..............

sell it to PACOsportage cause he was looking for a 4x4 to build (I think his was a 4x2) and he also needed a lift kit. He did not wan't to waste money!!

..or do what the other TWO said about chopping it up to modify its look

well the landowner dropped his charges this morning, he thinks the damage done to my truck is payment enough. he must think i won't do it again(he is sorely mistaken.) as for what i'll do with the sporty, i've got a friend that does body work, and he told me that with a little elbow grease and time we can completely repair the top. something about pushing the top back up with some sort of hydraulic spreader. then just pop the dents out, replace the windshield and rear windows. and it should be close to perfect. we are starting tomorrow. later, turtle

i got the sportage back this afternoon and it doesn't look as bad as i thought. the top wasn't crushed as i thought, it just looks that way. the glass will have to be replaced, and a new roof will be welded in place. other than that, it's okay, hell it fired right up when the tow truck dropped it off. as for pics, i can't take pictures because the camera was in the truck when it went over. now, it's missing and my wife is upset. it was a 300 dollar camera. oh well, another thing to replace. later, turtle.

defboy, what wasn't ripped off the top was crushed, it's a really thin gauge steel, and doesn't like a lot of weight on top of it. the good news is that i found another body(same in every aspect, including the color) and the guy only wants 50.00 bucks for it. it seems he broke the crankshaft and was beginning to rebuild it when he found a toyota for less than what he was willing to put into the sportage. so, now i have another teal blue sportage to drop the motor and tranny into. ha, what luck i've got. later, turtle.
