Just had it done!
Brought the crank in to be mic'd, and it was real marginal, so we ground it down to 1st oversize. With the bearings, it was $135 here in San Diego.
The head was cleaned, pressure-tested, resurfaced, valves/seats reground, guides replaced, and a sparkplug helicoil installed: $284, but man it looks GOOD!
The block looks ok, so I'm just replacing the freezplugs and cleaning it up as best I can. $10
Gasket set was $25 off fleabay. Had a spare crank pilot bearing to put in myself: $10.
Now I just need time to put it all together.
