Roll Me Over
My wife has MS and drives a hand-control equipped wheelchair van. Well, she wrecked it yesterday. I am not comfortable leaving for 10 days with her having no transportation. She is urging me to go anyway, but I am not too sure.

If it is repairable, they may have it done by then. If not, we will have to start a search to buy another one, and I only have a very limited number of days off during the week in the next three weeks.

Linda and I just had a long talk, and she is insisting that I go. She ran through all the resources she has available to help her, and wasn't taking no for an answer. I guess that I am back on the clock.

What a woman!

Does she ever ride shotgun on the trails?

With her lack of strength in the lower body, riding shotgun would be a real trial for her because she can't really use her legs to brace herself. However, as you can see, she is very supportive of my involvement. She actually really enjoyed the evening when I brought home a whole house full of wheelers for dinner and staying overnight. It didn't hurt anything that Ruth, Craig's co-pilot and the greatest trail dog ever was in the group.

Besides, this is one of the sanest and safest of activities that I have participated in.

Three weeks from today is the official start of the the unofficial gathering sometimes referred to as ZuZoo X.

I connected the solenoid to the air manifold today and ran the wiring into the cab. Tomorrow morning I will finish connecting up the switch.

My wife has a bad disc in her neck, so she is not able to ride shotgun either. BUT she is always very supportive of our sometimes dangerous, and always expensive sport! Let's hear it for the good women in our lives!

Glad you'll be there, Jim!

Got my rear wheel spacers on so the tires stick out as far as the front ones
Also trimmed the plastic front bumper at the wheelwell for tire clearance.

And then I had to go out of town until next Thursday I am currently in Waterloo, Iowa.

Oh well, at least I am to the point of, if I had to go right now, I could. It would be better for the tires if I could get an alignment, though.
