The US supposedly will get a version of the overseas Pajero, a unibody development of the current model, 5 doors, much like the outgoing Montero. There's talk that we may get the 3-door model as well, though it's not clear how they'll do it profitably in light of the 25-percent duty, the so-called "chicken tax." Wheels magazine (Australia) did a feature on testing the new Monty in the Outback. It was taped up but it looks about the same, size-wise, as the Gen3.
