Getting the Wheeling Fever
My 96 2wd w/auto has a slight shudder at idle.
When idling you can feel it- sorta the feeling a loose wheel has when spun on an axle- it is harmonic... phrumm, phrumm, phrummm. Not a constant shudder, but regular.

Engine and truck seem to run well- it only has 82k miles on it.

I heard somewhere these trucks had a problem with fly wheels cracking.

Anyone else ever heard of or experiences this?

Surlynkid on here had his flex plate fail (there should be some pic and info if you search). IIRC, the symptom was a clicking noise before it failed...
