Yeah, it's a DOHC VTEC. For those of you who are not familiar with the engine, it has variable valve timing. There are 2 sets of lobes on the cams. When it hits 5,000 rpm, a solenoid engages the second set of cams that is optimized for high performance. The engine can run up to 8,000 rpm without red lining. It's a big difference from the 3.2 in the Rodeo, which I rarely push over 3,000 rpms. Also, it's weird being so low, with my butt less than a foot off the pavement. I have to remember that I can't run over curbs or dead animals in the center of the road when I'm driving the del sol (did that today).

Hats off to you, man. Its true dedication when you take the curb just to hit a dead animal. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> I thought I was the only one.

I'm painting my alternate mode of transportation at the moment. An 89 Suzuki gs500. Got it in the cold months for asong. Ready to ride. Should save me a bit on gas $.

Good luck with the del sol!

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.
