When I was in school (yes I did go) All the boys had a pocket knife. Many carried self opening knives... later called "switch blades". When I got old enough to drive to school many of the pickups in the parking lot had gun racks with guns in them.
No, I never heard of anyone geting cut or shot by one of the knives or guns.
And yes if the living hell is beat out of someone for doing or NOT doing something..after a few beatings the problem will stop! Trust me, I have a PHD in beatings.
