Frank you are right about trying to get a fuel pressure reading W/O the factory adapter. My fuel pressure test kit comes with an inline schrader adapter, but of course then you either leave the adapter in place or replace with a barb adapter where the hose was cut. I guess I thought that if the problem is consistant then a dealer with the right adapter could check when cold. Usually cars tend to work fine when at the dealer and not when off the lot. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I had an instance last year of my truck not starting until I'd tried it 3 times. I had first started it OK backed it up to the garage to load and turned it off. On restart it did not start until I had turned it over and waited a few seconds then turned it over again. Took 3 trys. It had never done this before and has never done it since. I assume I had flooded it?? The other cause I thought about was the fuel pump relay not switching on immediately.
