should be right under your nose ! on the wheel well under the canister.should be a hose ftom throttle body to the solinoid to the canister.

Montero 98, leaf sprung, GEN 2, SWB, 3.0 lt. V6 engine, 12 valve code 6g72. South America specs.

hmmm, a '98 you say? I never seen one of those
