Getting the Wheeling Fever

I want to know the weight of a 1989 toyota extended cab with a 3.0 v6. I looked on 4x4wires specs page, pirate, and googled it. no luck. Can anyone tell me the weight of it. I will have to guestimate my lift and tires. I'm wanting to know the weight for towing purposes with a half ton truck.

Landfill scales or truckstops. Don't do what my friend did and go to the DOT scales with a truck that's too high, that will cost you. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Ill see what i can do to go to get it weighed. I thought there might be a site with factory specs.

Yes, I would think any grain elevator in your area would have one. And if they don't charge you, at least leave them a 6-pack for their trouble <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />.

funny you say that we have one withn walking distance from my house. But its out of commission for about 10 yeas now

My '90 weighed 3620lbs according to the title, though my '90 came with tow hitch, wing windows, bed liner, 60/40 buckets, and 31's. A truck equiped differently wouldn't weigh the same.
More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

Take in a load of scrap to the yard. The good yards give reciepts listing Gross, Tare and Net weights. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
