Going down the Big Sluice he was pretty flexed out, there was a loud bang. When I got there, he had broken the front output shaft out of the t-case and the d-shaft was bent. What happened was the slip was almost out and as it started to compress the male part of the slip cocked in the female part, did not slide back in so something had to break/bend and both happened, busted t-case, bent d-shaft.


i did not say its not possible to drop it, i said i haven't yet. i know its not the best setup, but it has worked so far. i dont think it will drop out. maybee if a lot of torque is applied when it is fully dropped the splines may be damaged, and what your saying could happen. a rear slip shaft is longer than a stock front btw.

i wail the everliving crap out of my truck. and it hasnt broken yet.
