Ok, im 95% sure everything is set as it should be but i still cant get this thing dialed in. Camshaft sprocket is just left of center, and i have set the ignition to 5 degrees before TDC with the T and E1 connectors shorted. And yet this thing still lacks power and doesn't sound too good. Also, to set the ign. timing with the distributor, its movement maxed out right at about 5 degrees, and then i tried moving the distributor gear one tooth and couldn't even get it close, is this normal? I must be overlooking something here guys so feel free to chime in.


Set the cam sprocket pin at 1200 and the crank at 0* TDC
Stab the dizzy in at 1200(rotor pointing up) and make sure the rotor points at #1
The bolt for the dizzy should be in the middle area of the elongated slot when all is good
