first off i got a 1978 jeep cherokee s and every time that i start out i get a popping noise from under my jeep, if i start out real slow someitmes it doesnt make the noise but if i gun it it almost sounds like a machine gun going off under the jeep, its not exhaust or anything that sounds like exhaust its more of a mechanical sound, it also makes a popping when i turn sharp, the u joints are good so it lead me to think that i either got something wrong with my rear end or possibly my transfer case, someone told me about a transfer case cahin and if it get loose it does something like that, i dont know though, any help would be greatly apreciated i would love to get back on the trail soon
