I'm sure that this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it. I have an '86 Trooper and woould like to keep the IFS, and put a 10 bolt from a post 87 trooper in the '86 and then put aussie lockers in both front and rear. I know that the suspension changed during this time period, but is basically the same principle. There's gotta be someone out there that has at least attempted this.... any advice would be most appreciated. thanks

I suggest contacting Jerry Lemond jlemond@bellsouth.netIf anybody knows, he would. While you're at it, swap in a 12-bolt rear and get disc brakes in the bargain...

TrooperMagnum from this board and from gitout.com has done this swap on his trooper. I'd talk to him about it. He'll hook ya up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
