Exellent trouble shooting there CJM. You may have just stumbled upon the most common cause of rough - erratic running in a 22re

I just had the throttle shaft on the carb on my 68' f250 4X re-bushed. Runs like new , no misses , no flat spots and will idle perfectly at 400rpm's

Has anyone ever done this on a 22re throttle body???
