Need a Spot
|
I rebuit my 1992 2.6L after the head gasket blew out and have been struggling with an oil leak from the bottom-middle of the intake manifold.
In the lower-middle of the engine bock side of the intake there is a small hole insde a small square cavity leading to an oil drain from the top of the engine. On the Intake manifold side there is nothing - just flat metal. The intake gasket has an open square in this area and I keep getting an oil leak from this spot.
The small access hole to the oil drain (under no pressure) appears to have absolutly no function on the intake manifold. Baffled?
1) Anyone else have this hole on their engine block? 2) Any suggestions for plugging it up as I am going on my 3rd intake manifold gasket in 1 year?
Thanks
