Rough Country 4" Suspension Lift Kit Anyone know anything about this lift kit? It will be going on a 1990 YJ Wrangler. It is the cheapest one I can find and the only one that I can afford. I just wanted some input about it if anyone has some. Also, what other modifications will I have to do with this Lift? It looks like it comes with everything I need to do it.

I was looking for that on my 93 YJ and heard from too many sources that it is one of the worst ones out there. The springs will sag after only a few months and it produces and extremly rough ride.
I'm looking at the black diamond 4" now but won't save up for it till next fall.
You get what you pay for.

I'm running it on my 91 YJ with no problems what so ever; been on there for 4 years. I drive the piss out of this thing and the springs are not sagging on it at all. The ride is rough, but it's an old jeep and not my primary ride. For the money, it's not a bad lift.

CST, there is nothing wrong with that lift...it gets that reputation, as far as I can tell, solely because it is less expensive than the rest.
My good friend in the Coast Guard is running the 4" Black Diamond and the ride it gives is definately not the best either.
Heck, if I had to choose between 450$ for the Rough Country and 700$ for the Skyjacker I can tell you I'd definately be saving myself 250$!!!
If you want a smooth ride buy a Cadillac!!!
