Getting the Wheeling Fever
I hate to pop your bubble but after checking the tire calulator you only had a gain of 3 mph. to gain up to 6 or more like you claim you need to go into a 16 or a small 17 in. wheel.

Body Damage is Cool

Yeah, I know they aren't really chunky but they're BIGGER. I worked out they change my speedo reading so I'm doing 100 when the dial shows 92. Have to be careful now. Roughly, I went from 26.5" to 28.5" in diameter give or take a beer's worth
Hope this helps someone make a decision, bear in mind these are second hand with over 50% tread still on them. [/quote]

From the tire calculator that I use, it looks like 94 kph should be ok. Good luck.

Around 94 km/h seems to be about right...oh well, if I stick to that I won't go wrong with the law. Went for a 2 hour drive over Easter on highway, loved the new treads on the tar, very grippy. Had a bit of rock crawling, but no mud to speak of [ No rain to make it]

Still....had a bit of fun trying.

I'll try harder when I get a hand winch, just too chicken to do it now
Found on the way home [hard rocky and very rough roads] that the suspension feels very very hard, yet on the bitumen it feels spongy like you're shocks don't work at all. Maybe the tires have too much air to soak up the bumps so I'll check them out later.

AdsKia, thanks, I like the black wheels too but I might do some art on mine in the future...????
To put photos on here, you have to open an account with another site like photobucket, where they store your pictures on their server. Then you download your pic's into your own album on their site. Once there, it gets an address starting with http: something or other. When you want to insert a pic you just click on the "image" box when typing a post and copy that address into the popup box. Seems hard but once you get the hang of it, it aint that bad.

Cen_Tex .... how's this for a start on the sticker idea? Guess I can't go too far or I might infringe on copyright.
