As with the Honda Passport (Rodeo), the Acura SLX (Trooper) was simply a rebadged Isuzu.

I don't know about 5-speeds, but I doubt it. Manuals were only available in base models as Troopers in that era, doubt if an upscale brand like Acura would offer "base" models.
