A quick search at Cars.com shows that there are only NINE of them listed for sale right now, nationwide - versus 352 Troopers... I guess that makes them 'sort of' rare.


Personally, I'm a big fan of the 1998+ Troopers and SLXs, especially in all-black or all-green, like this one:

As far as transmissions go...
Like noted above, I'm pretty sure that they were all autos -- However, if you really wanted to go to the trouble (and spend the money), you could always install a manual in its place... I'll even bet that the mounting holes for the master cylinder/pedal assembly are already on the firewall, plugged and waiting.
