one of my few friends and i are intending on starting a small fabrication shop in the near future. a couple of projects that we intend to start with is a custom front bumper and a skidplate for the front of my sporty. now, i'm not dave, nor do i intend to take his place or business. this will be a hobby for my friend and myself. eventually, i will figure out how to post pics on this forum and show pictures of the skidplate and the bumper we will be working on. personally, i wish dave wasn't shutting down his business, but he doesn't seem to have the time to invest into it anymore(this actually makes me sad) and feels that shutting down is in his best interest. i wish him the best of luck on his endevours and that maybe he can continue with RockSportGear. as for me, i'll be making things for my own truck(with a little luck and a lot of mistakes) in the near future. like i said, i don't want to make a business of it, it's just a hobby. and from what i've seen, i'd have one heck of a time filling dave's shoes(that's a compliment dave.) later guys, turtle.

So, in the KIA aftermarket world, we lose a legal business (RSG) and gain 2 "hobbyists." What an interesting time this is to own a Sportage.

Just ripped open the box......I'll paint it and install it, taking pics all the way. Jess even engraved it and put a serial number on it for me!

Just FYI for clarity's sake. I am not affiliated with "turtle" outside of this forum. I started my own venture with a coworker and we have big plans.
