haven't really had the chance to actually start working, but the plans include a front bumper with a grill guard integrated into it, a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier and rear facing off-road lights for reverse, and for those of us without a tire carrier from the factory, the possibility of an internal tire carrier. i also have a heavy duty front skidplate in the plans that will be a little different than platarg814's design. i may also try and build a custom snorkel. i only have the ideas of what i want to build, and granted these are mainly for my truck, but if someone sees it and likes it, i could build it for them as well.

platarg814 said he was working on a design for it, and i am also currently gathering tools for a fab shop(more of a hobby) to build and design things for the sportage.

is it possible for them to fabricate a longer skidplate protect the oil pan and maybe even the transmission pan? I have an idea for: a single plate to cover the area of the stock "splash guard" plus the oil pan and front differential OR 1 or 2 additional pieces to cover the oil pan and differential seperately The prototype will be built and intstalled on my truck, with production pieces to follow after. after this, and the fuel tank "stock replacement" piece, rear differential, transmission and transfer case will follow. Of course, my truck is a 5 speed, so I would need another someone's truck for the auto trans. I currently have no orders after 5/11/07, so if someone is really serious about one particular plate, I could focus on that one. Currently, the fuel tank piece has priority as far as development goes. This is taking entirely too long, I know, but once I go to 1st shift in July, I should have more time to actually get something done. Also don't forget, ANYTHING is possible if you have the time and resources. Right, Dave?

Actually,a skid plate from the front to to the tranny cross member would be nice. I could've used one yesterday: Was out in some rather rocky trails. Met a couple on an ATV; he had that look of "How'd THAT thing get up here?" Priceless. Just priceless! The same look I got from a Jeep driver back when I was driving my Subaru up a rough trail.
Got torque? '02 Ford F-350 STD Cab V10 6sp 4x4 12MPG in town and 15-17 on the highway.

Actually,a skid plate from the front to to the tranny cross member would be nice. That's one that I forgot about when writing my message yesterday, the crossmember, as well as the exhaust. It sounds like you're almost thinking of a belly pan ALL the way back though, right? Again, that can be arranged if there's serious interest.
