wow....the body lift for my truck came today, and to say the least, im a bit overwhelmed....so many pieces, so many instructions...dang...anyone have any tips as to how to go about putting it on, and anything else that would help?

p.s. finally figured out to get a picture up!! check it out!

Well, theres obviously the body lift pucks w/ longer bolts. Then theres gonna be some radiator drop brackets probably with some bolts. Also bumper lift brackets probably with bolts. MAYYBE a steering shaft extension, but I doubt it.

All there is to it is undo all the body mounts, lift up the body, put the pucks in, and bolt it back down. Either use a jack with a 4x4 piece of wood or get a buddy to help you lift. You'll figure it out <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

thats one of the things i was wondering about. i THINK it has a steering extension, but im not sure. how would you go about putting it on? the instructions arent very clear. also, it says you have to move the transfer case shifter, and like the the steering extension, the instructions arent very clear.

You may have to bend or otherwise modify the t-case shifter or enlarge the hole in the tunnel.

ok, so would you say its easier to cut the tunnel or modify the stick?

Most people find it easier to cut the tunnel as needed.

ok. what about installing the steering shaft extension? it does have one, but im not exactly sure how it works.
also, thanks 4crawler. i cant access the info now, because im at school. i will look later.

Likely that is a top extension, goes on the top end of the steering shaft, extension into the clamp, shaft into the extension:
