I did this very swap into a my '84 xtra cab. It was pretty much a straight across swap. <IIRC>The G52 tranny that came with carbed trucks had the same shifter location as the R151F. If the truck had been equiped with a 22RE it would have a W56 tranny which, so I've been told, has the shifter farther back. The clutch from your 22R will work, but you could get a flywheel and clutch from a '93 - '95 22RE, which is the same as the slightly larger ones that came with the turbo 22RTE in '86 - '87. I paid $35 for a flywheel at the boneyard and about $50 to get it resurfaced. JT Outfitters sells a good stock type clutch. JT also has this clutch up as an eBay auction here. For a high performance clutch it looks like Marlin Crawler might be the best bet.

Oh yeah, the output flanges on the turbo setup have a larger bolt pattern than the ones that came with your truck. No problem though, your flanges will swap right over. Just remember to clean the splines on the T/C and the flanges with a solvent like brakeclean and seal them up with grey RTV, otherwise you'll have oil leaks at the flanges.-- Matt
