Transfer cases that is. Dual NP231's, this thing craaaaaaaawls now.

I just got back from the initial test drive down the road. Went great! I still need to make the front driveshaft and a skid plate to protect it all. Here's a teaser pic:

I'll do a write-up with pics soon, but for now I have a trashed garage that needs to be picked up.

Fing sweet, dual cases rock. That will be lower than dual stock toy cases.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Good Job Nathan. Super good job. I wanna see some pics of that rear shaft, and SYE.

Speedo working out? Did you have to get some sort of pulse converter?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The mods are there... We just have to figure out what fits what, and put it together.

I hope Nate's twin Tcase kit comes out about the same time as Frank's SC kit. I won't be able to afford either, but I'll bookmark the site links, like the other 50 things I "wanna do someday" to my Monty. Way to go Nathan.

One thing I dont understand. Maybe it is just the pic but it looks like the front output shaft is blocked by the front trans case. Do you have a pic from above?

Curtis, I ended up mixing and mating parts from a couple different speedo assemblies, and came up with a Montero/Jeep hybrid. The important part is that is uses the Montero pulse generator, it just spins at a different speed right now. I have this on its way here. I looked at a few different signal manipulators and decided on the Dakota unit. It seems to be the most user-friendly.

It's not just you. I've been working on this for a while, but didn't want to post until is was pretty much functional.

I don't have a pic from that angle, but I will be showing one from below. the front case does clear...barely.
