Your list looks pretty good. The 2.72 by itself is worth the effort IMHO. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> The shifter arrangement should be a lot simpler for a single case too.

I would also rob the pulse sensor and wheel from the tailhousing/tailshaft of the same Cherokee transmission. You will need these parts from a '96 or newer model.

If you get a speedo gear assembly for a cable, you can do what I did. If you use a newer electric sender, you will need some sort of signal conditioner. I still ended up using a signal conditioner because I wanted to compensate for tires as well.
