This may sound like a silly question but, I was wondering... How the Automatic tranny works with the motor. Does the automatic tranny detect the RPM's from the motor then decide to shift and down shift or does the Main computer to the motor tell the transmission to shift. Does the transmission monitor the fuel pedal position, for instance, when you floor it then it down shifts?
