Pep Boys sells an electric fuel pump that works fine (4-7 PSI IIRC). I've had one of those on my 4-banger for a couple years now and it works like a champ. I never vapor-lock anymore. I just run it in-line with the mechanical pump. It needs to be mounted low, back in front of the tank.
