i got it with soapy water, i was tired as heck last night and didnt think to try it. i had a bear of a time with the bead but i said to heck with it and used about 2 oz of gasoline in the tire rolled it around one time and took and poured a trail of gas about 10 feet to the tire and torched it while i ran around the corner of my garage. i wish i would have had video it was funny. i really hate to do it like that but it worked, ive heard of people blowing their faces off like that using starting ether. gas seemed a little less dangerous and it ignited slowly ginving me a chance to take cover.

now this may sound wierd but my xfather in law had a good way to do it. he would pull the valve core then i wold stand on one side of the tire while he would drive over the other side with his f 150 to break the bead then flip tire and repeat. he had 2 long screw drivers to work the bead off the rim. now here is the cool part to put the new tire on he would soap up both sides of the bead get the tire started on the bottom bead then beat the rest of it on with a 32 oz syanley framing hammer, then start the top bead and repeat. now to say i wasnt to comfy with this idea on my stang rims being they were aluminum but in his own way he wold just look at me as if to say "what are you worried about" as he is already swinging the hammer. and in all the times we did tires that way he never ever once hit the rim

i was considering that mounting tool but i didnt think it would be big enough for a 35x15.5 tire.... whats the biggest tire youve mounted with that?

It handled a set of 35x12.50s with no problems.

set the wheel so its not gunna move on the ground....this is tricky and I have done this before. set the tire on ground with some carpet underneath it. take another vehicle and roll over the tire and try and steer around it with the other car...this will pop the bead on the rim easily with no added stress to your life. Move tire around reset it as needed...Make sure you roll over the tire and not the rim with the other vehicle..Hope this helps...I got tired of jumping and flying tire bars everywhere and when i figured this out it was a big relief....Have fun
