In the past month I had noticed a click noise when I let off the gas that sounded like the drive shaft. Upon inspection I found that the slip joint in the rear drive shaft might need lube. Then found why it was all out...A rock must have hit the zert for the slip joint as the lil ball that keeps the grease in was stuck in so all the grease would just flow back out. (looking at how exposed the zert is on the rear shaft, surprised I have never broke it all the way off) Anyhow, I swapped the zert and proceeded to refill with lube. As the slip got full...I noticed grease/air/water leaking out of the seal area right at the slip in the shaft <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Just wondered if this joint in the drive shaft has a replaceable seal (thinking maybe an O-ring) that I could replace. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated. smile
