I'll preface by saying yes, I Did search, found no definitive answers. I just picked up a set of 33x12.5 procomp at's on 15x10 rock crawlers. the wheels have only 3.5-3.75" BS, so they stick out way too far. These will end up on a 99 Trooper with the big ugly plastic flares.

I know 15x8 is my best option, so that is what I am looking for. What is the minimum backspacing that I will need so as to not need to take the sawzall to the rear of the front wheelwell? Would 4" be enough?

I am not looking for something that will tuck way up, as my offroad travels are limited to beach driving on very soft sand. I need floatation, not articulation. A little cutting is okay, but nothing too noticible.

Thanks for the help.
