I've got one mounted on the cab, top and centered, works great <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

As for mounts, there's lots of ways to do it, hardmounting is usually best for reception, my antenna came with the hard mount, had to drill a whole through the cab for the coax, but the antenna can be removed and a little cap to cover the coax connection when not in use
