This might be an interesting discussion. Purely academic.

If you had a tool bag about the size of a shaving kit bag (i.e., about the size of a small loaf of bread), which could be transferred from vehicle to vehicle, what TWELVE hand-tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, and the like, but not supplies) would you have in it? Intended use is while on long trips on the road in a typical car/truck, so items requiring 110VAC or an air compressor to operate or charge aren't to be considered. Items which require batteries or 12VDC (i.e., plug into the cig-lighter) are okay. All hand-tools listed must fit together in the bag as described with the bag zipped shut.

What you would carry is needed here. Why you would carry them would be nice, too, if you feel like elaborating.

That would fall under the category or supplies not tools.

I had a set of pliers that were like a square jaw linesman pliers on one side and you could flip the handle around and have a needle nose on the other side. One of the jaws also had the built in wire cutter w/ a notch for stripping insulation. It was a handy tool to carry to the junkyard.

At the bare minimum, I would also include some mechanic's wire, and duct or electric tape of some sort.

One of those multi-bit screwdrivers would probably be a good idea too.

Body Damage is Cool
I'd put a phone in it.......so I could call someone who carries enough tools.

Two MRI's and a CAT scan....it's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

Multi-screwdriver, 10,12,14,17 MM wrenches, adjustable wrench, zip ties, e-tape, tire plugs kit, cotter pins, valve stem tool..if the bag was big enough I'd drop in a 3/8 ratchet with a couple of wobble extensions, 8,10,12,14,17,19 mm sockets, and an adapter to 1/2 drive for a 20,21,and 22 mm socket.

I'll think of more and edit later. But there ain't much you cant fix on a Toyota with the above stuff.
