Ouch Jeff, that was funny tho. I have one of those small canvas tool bags, so I guess it's a tad bigger than a shaving kit bag. My list is similar to yours:

Multi-screwdriver,
10,12,14,17 MM gear wrenches
adjustable wrench and vise grips
zip ties, e-tape, duct tape
cotter pins, 18g wire (maybe 3 ft)
barrel splices
wire stripper
wire nippers and duckbill pliers, needlenose (I've got minis of these)
Small 12v trouble probe
red RTV
small box knife
telescoping magnet (got mine from Sears)
emory cloth- you'd be amazed at how often you'd pull that out.

ditto on the sockets if'n ya got room.

Great thread! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

What do you boy's in Texas do with theses? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I've always carried a toll box with way to much stuff. Today I bought a small canvas bag and I'm going to down size. Your post came at the right time CapnCrunch. But I know I'll feel naked without the big tool box. I'll post what I put in the bag.

We trim our fingernails, then cut the bonds of California guys who have wandered into this guys neck of the woods and got caught. He's your cousin, eh Rich?

That would be one of those times to use the handy box knife that you should keep in your tool bag. If you don't have any dykes, that is....

COusin, twice removed. We don't talk much...basically he doesn't talk at all...just monosyllabic grunts, and occaisonally mentions Hokie football....
